How is this different from a reverb or a granular plugin I already own?
Cloudmax 3 is not a reverb and not a straight granular tool. It pairs a granular texture engine with a tuned modal resonator — so you get both the smear and a musical body underneath it. If you've tried to get this sound with reverb + granular + EQ chained together, you'll understand what's different in 30 seconds of demo.
Which DAWs does it work with?
Any DAW that loads VST3 on Mac or Windows, or Audio Unit on Mac. We test every release on Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, Reaper, and Bitwig. If your DAW loads VST3, Cloudmax 3 loads.
Is the license perpetual or subscription?
Perpetual. Buy once, own forever. You get free updates through the entire 1.x line. Major upgrades (2.0) will be offered at a discounted rate to existing owners.
What if I change computers?
Every license covers 3 simultaneous machine activations. From your user portal you can deactivate any machine instantly — no support ticket needed. If you lose a machine (theft, hardware failure) and can't deactivate it yourself, email support and we'll handle it in under 24h.
Who is behind Karanyi Sounds?
Karanyi Sounds is a small Budapest-based instrument studio run by Daniel Karanyi, a producer and instrument designer. Every plugin is designed, coded, and sounded by a team of three. You can email us directly — we read everything.
