It’s been quite a journey over the past six years. During this time, we've built close to fifty virtual instruments and plugins — and it still feels surreal that more than 130,000 musicians around the world are using them every day.
From hobbyists and indie producers to professional composers and Grammy-winning artists — we’re beyond grateful that you’ve welcomed our tools into your creative world. Thank you for trusting us, for following us, and most importantly: for making music with what we create.

As our product family has grown, so have we. We've learned a lot, changed a lot, and tried to listen carefully to what you need. That’s why we’ve moved to a brand-new webshop. One that’s faster, simpler, and better in every way.
Our goal is to give you the smoothest, clearest, most enjoyable experience possible — from browsing to buying, downloading, and using our products. We’ve put a huge amount of energy into making sure everything just works — and this new site is a big step toward that.

That said, we're still a small but very determined team. So yes, there may be a few tiny bumps during this transition.
If you spot something that’s off, or if anything doesn’t work the way it should, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

A few important notes about the webshop update

We’ve gathered the most common topics to help you get up to speed quickly.

🔄 Why are you migrating to a new shop?

We’ve outgrown our old platform — so we built a new one that’s faster, cleaner, and much more intuitive to use. This change isn’t just cosmetic.

Starting June 13, the new webshop offers:

• Faster loading times for smoother browsing on both desktop and mobile
• Simplified product structure so you can find what you need with less clicking

And coming June 23:

• A blazing-fast, fully updated user account area with easy access to all your license keys and downloads — including your complete order history

📦 How can I access my previous purchases?

If you’ve purchased from shop.karanyisounds.com (our temporary storefront used since December 1, 2024), your orders are already available on our new site. You can log in with the same email address you used when ordering.

You can access your downloads and serial numbers on our legacy site until July 1, 2025. Check out the step-by-step guide here to learn how.

After this date, all your past purchases will be accessible (including all historical purchases, serials and downloads) exclusively from our current site at. More info on how to use the new account system is available here.

If you purchased earlier — from our legacy store (used before December 2024) — those orders are still accessible at legacy.karanyisounds.com until July 1. From June 13 onward, this legacy site is in read-only mode: you can log in and download your past purchases, but you can’t buy anything new there anymore.
We’re currently migrating all legacy purchases to the new webshop. By June 23, all of your past orders — including older purchases from the legacy site — will be fully available here.

🛒 What happens to the old store?

Our old webshop — now available at legacy.karanyisounds.com — is now in read-only mode. That means:

• ✅ You can still log in and download your previous purchases
• ❌ But you can no longer make new purchases there

We’re keeping the legacy site online until July 1, after that, the site will be retired — and all past purchases will be available exclusively here. If you ever ordered from shop.karanyisounds.com (our temporary store that ran from December 2024 until now), those orders are already available in your account on the new site.

📁 What about my data, downloads, and licenses?

We’re taking extra care to make sure all your existing data comes with you. Here’s what’s being migrated to the new webshop:

• Your order history
• All download links
• Your license keys
• Your personal account information (name, email, etc.)

If you placed your order through shop.karanyisounds.com (since December 1, 2024), your data is already available on the new platform.
If you ordered through our legacy store, your account data and purchases will be fully migrated by June 23. Until then, you can still log in and access your files at legacy.karanyisounds.com.
No matter where or when you purchased, you won’t lose anything — it’s all being carefully transferred to ensure continuity. And just to be clear: We do not store your payment details — those are handled securely by trusted providers (like Stripe or PayPal).

📬 Why did I receive old order emails?

Between June 7 and June 15, 2025, some customers may have received automated order confirmation or download emails for purchases they originally made months or even years ago. These messages were triggered during our historical data migration to the new webshop. They are harmless system notifications — you weren’t charged again, and there’s no duplicate order involved. You can safely ignore these emails.
We’re truly sorry for the confusion and appreciate your patience while we complete the transition.

🧾 I have a coupon or redemption code from the old store — will it work?

Coupons issued for our previous webshop — including discount codes and free product redemptions — will not work automatically on the new site.
But don’t worry: if you

• bought a product through one of our distributors (like Plugin Boutique, VSTBuzz, etc.), or
• have a coupon or license code that’s no longer working

🗂️ What’s happening to legacy products and Kontakt instruments?

As part of this migration, many of our older products and bundles have become legacy items, and are no longer available for individual purchase. However, if you already own any of them, you’ll still be able to access and download them from your account on the new webshop — starting June 23. Also, as of June 13, 2025, we’ve officially discontinued the individual sale of our Kontakt instruments.

🔐 Is my personal data safe?

Yes — absolutely. As part of the migration to our new webshop, we’re transferring all personal account data securely and responsibly. This includes your name, email address, order history, license keys, and download links.
We do not store or migrate any sensitive payment information — that data is always handled exclusively by our trusted payment partners like Stripe and PayPal.
Our new platform is fully compliant with GDPR and other international data protection standards.
We’re doing everything we can to ensure that your data stays safe, private, and accessible only to you.
